David’s commitment to excellent service began in 1997, while managing property along the Gulf Beaches. Although, he enjoyed this aspect of the business he was ready for another challenge and began selling new, residential construction which ultimately led to many more opportunities with home developers. In 2000, he was chosen to oversee all aspects of development and sales of The Crescent Lake City Homes in Saint Petersburg. Proving his competence on this project, David was sought out by the developers of the Highland Courtyard Townhomes and South Crescent Lake Townhomes where he assisted in the design, construction, build, marketing and sales of these developments. He was called into the take over the sales and marketing of the Historic Round Lake Chalets and directed the second phase of the project.
His understanding of construction runs deep and wide as he has been in the industry since he was 16 years old, where he owned his own construction company installing commercial glazing in some famous buildings in London, Telford, Lake Windermere, Redding and other cities in England. Since then he has restored 100 year old historic homes in St. Pete, renovated numerous homes and has acquired rental property along the way. Given his experience in so many facets of construction and real estate David is able to see what most people don’t see when looking at homes and shares this knowledge with his clients in order to help them avoid getting involved in a real estate transaction that won’t close. Essentially, he’s saving his clients from wasting weeks of precious time and a whole lot of stress as well as $800-$1000 in inspections and appraisal.
This commitment to his clients’ real estate well-being has earned David recognition from Coldwell Banker as one of the top 100 associates in Florida. The Pinellas Board of Realtors has recognized David for being in the Top 100 agents in Pinellas County and together with his team of successful realtors and assistants, sold 117 units totaling over $26.4 million in real estate sales in 2013 and was given The Coldwell Banker International Elite Award. David and his team continue to win awards year after year.
